Before They Were Nightclubs

Before they turned into pseudo-nightclubs, Abercrombie & Fitch stores used to be where adventurers and outdoorsmen would get their gear. Above are some rare images from 1913. Taken from the Museum of the City of New York’s archives, and found via my friend CrimsonSox.

The one time I ever saw this movie, I was waaaaaay too drunk with some friends at a house party in Brooklyn, and they were playing it on a projector on the wall near a couch where I nodded off intermittently. It was not a good look. I’m way better at taking care of myself these days (this was probably a good five years ago) and I really need to give this movie another shot.
